January 2018: We Can
CEOs representing the world’s leading agricultural crop protection companies meet in Davos, Switzerland, to discover that by working together, malaria eradication is possible.
April 2018: We Will
Those companies come back together at the London Malaria Summit to sign a declaration of their commitment to work together to advance vector control and help eradicate malaria by the year 2040. And ZERO by 40 was born.
November 2018 – February 2019: Research
ZERO by 40, in partnership with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and IVCC, conducts research to identify the global impact of malaria eradication and the modes of action that will be most effective.
January 2019: Off We Go
The founding members of ZERO by 40 reconvene at the World Economic Forum in Davos to review the plan and set a course to move forward on projects.
July 2019: Now We Do
The ZERO by 40 partners meet in London to discuss and define workstreams and outputs, setting the stage for taking action and delivering real solutions.
